Dating living together
Some places will consider that after barely 6 months of sharing a home, if they then split, things are divided equally. Once you know what the laws are for your area, and in consideration of your own situation, you might then decide to tailor your search options accordingly. you might decide to avoid single parents with small children or if a home owner, you might decide to only date other home owners who would have an equal financial investment.
Personally, I think you are way over thinking things at the moment but I do understand some people need to know upfront all the aspect.
Your next FAILED relationship is already in your head. You can't know how evil the other person is going to become if the relationship goes south. Those who own their own homes will be considering that asset, those with children will be considering their needs and how to protect their environment, and those who have been burned in the past, will be considering their lessons learned.
At the moment, you are trying to cover yourself for all possible scenarios and have no idea which one might apply as you haven't even found a person who you can see yourself moving in with. Because having that asset potentially be divided, is something you need to be aware of.
JMO but if you are so concerned about what you might lose materialistically vs what you might gain from being in a relationship, perhaps you need to do some more thinking before continuing to search.
